As a native of China, Miaojun Xu has appeared as a solo pianist with wide repertoire and performed numerous concerts in China, Italy, Spain and the United States. She has received rewards from all of the world as a solo pianist, including the first prize in “17th Young Musician International Competition “Citta di Barletta”; Third prize in the Burgos International Music Festival; and also the first prize in the Impressionistic section of the "Atlanta Teacher Music Association" competition. As a collaborative pianist, Miaojun Xu had varied experiences in both accompanying and chamber music. Miaojun Xu is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance in The Boston Conservatory of Music with Professor Janice Weber.
